We had a great week! In science, we are learning about living and non-living things. We planted peanuts! We filled up our marble jar and celebrated. We brought our stuffed animals to school to celebrate. (They are non-living.) We are making a graph of Dr. Seuss books in math. We read and wrote poems this week. We made a poem into a shape. Today we are finishing Dr. Seuss. We are writing an opinion story about our favorite Dr. Seuss story. Today is going to be a great day!

This week was great! We celebrated St. Patrick's Day on Monday. It was also Landen's birthday. We got jello with whipped cream! We also got a snack on our desks. We think the leprechaun came, too, because the room was a mess. There were chairs on the table! We had a substitute for two days. She was a good teacher! We had some rainy and cold days, so we had to stay inside for recess. We watched Dr. Seuss movies. We also read Wacky Wednesday and The King's Stilts. We read a non-fiction book about penguins. Then we drew pictures and wrote about them. In math we have been learning about fact families. Froggy went home with Landen yesterday. Tonight we will have the school carnival and the book fair! Today we are also celebrating Jayme and Lilly's birthdays. This week was a fun week!
This was a great week! We have a new girl in our class. Her name is Jayme. She is very nice. Last night, we did the musical called "Bugz". We're learning about Dr. Seuss. Some of the books we have read are Horton Hatches the Egg, The Big Brag, Dr. Seuss's ABC, There's a Wocket in My Pocket, and Green Eggs and Ham. In math, we are learning about the equal sign. Equal means the same as. Another math word for equal is equivalent. We are finished learning about Harriet Tubman. Today is Jack's birthday. I am looking forward to another great week!
