We had an awesome week! Today is pajama day. There are some awesome pajamas! We got to bring our stuffed animals. We learned how to use a dictionary. We read about Johnny Appleseed, Paul Bunyan, and John Henry. Those are called Folk Tales. They were good. We learned about seasons. We also learned about the weather and some experiments we can do. In math, we learned that fractions are equal parts. We divided cookies into equal parts. We made halves and fourths. We learned about how to draw 3-D shapes. Today is Fun Friday. We're going to play. It will be fun. We also had book buddies. Today is an awesome day! I hope we have an awesome week next week.

This week was good. We did some good work. We also did a test. Some people liked testing and hope we do it again. We had cupcakes for a treat. They were very good. We read a book yesterday called Diary of a Worm by Doreen Cronin. We did science. We are learning about weather. We learned that rain is a kind of precipitation. We also learned about seasons and that fall will start on Sunday. In writing, we wrote non-fiction stories. In math we are learning about shapes. We sorted shapes and made pictures out of them. We learned defining attributes of shapes. They are the number of sides, corners, and that shapes have to be closed. I am looking forward to drawing during Fun Friday! I hope next week is fun, too.
This was a great week! We learned about putting capital letters first and putting periods at the end. We learned -ad and -am words. We're learning where our city is. We made a graph. Most kids in our class live in Buford. We learned about cows and wrote non-fiction sories. In math, we practiced counting from any number. We got to 122! We also wrote numbers from 100 to 120. We counted by fives and tens. We learned how to use five fingers to pick "just right" books. We also learned to stop reading when we see punctuation. Tonight is Night Under the Stars. This week was Jonae's birthday. School is awesome!
It was an awesome week! Today was Breakfast With Dad. We had homework. We did calendar. We had fun. Our new author is named Doreen Cronin. We read Click, Clack, Moo; Cows That Type. We are learning -ag and -at words. In math, we counted by tens no matter what number we started on. We also counted by fives. We did hundred puzzles. In Social Studies we learned about landforms on our country, the United States of America. It was a great week. I hope to do it again!
