This week was awesome! We studied maps and globes in social studies. We learned about landforms. We love to go out for recess. Tyler and Bennett's moms helped out with math. We worked with -an and -ap. We chose our favorite character in Kevin Henkes books. In writing, we learned the writing steps. We had fun with our friends.

This week was fun! In math we practiced writing numbers to 120. We also put numbers in order to make a number line. We learned about maps and the compass rose. We also learned about the seven continents. We looked for treasure on our map by following cardinal directions. We read Recess Queen and many other books. We practiced vowels: a, e, i, o, u, and sometimes y. We had a great lunch every day. We learned that stories need a beginning, middle, and end. We had a great school week.
This was a good week. We played outside. We ate lunch. We did calendar. We read Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes. We got a new student. Her name is Haley T. She is nice and fun. We had a fire drill yesterday. The siren was very loud. We learned that we can’t cover our ears because we can’t hear the teacher’s directions. We have to stay in line. We had to turn around when we got to the parking lot. In Social Studies, we learned about maps. We also learned about map keys and compass roses. There are four parts of social studies: economics, geography, history, and citizenship. In math we are using hundreds charts. We had a great time with our book buddies today. We are getting homework today! Today is Fun Friday! It was a great week, and I can’t wait to come back next week.
It was an awesome week! On the first day, it was raining. We went outside the next day, but not for long because it started raining again. We did some work. We went to music, and today we’re going to P.E. We also went to the media center and found a treasure! The treasure was candy. We had book buddies today. Isabella’s book buddy read her a snake book. We had a lot of fun with Mrs. Baker teaching us stuff.
