I had a good week. This week we learned –ip words. We practiced reading by using beginning and ending sounds. We also learned about verbs. A verb is an action word. It’s a thing you’re doing like running. We have an action word song. For homework we started working on decorating a turkey. In math, we made a turkey glyph to decide what we might eat for Thanksgiving. We read a book about a moose that wanted a turkey for Thanksgiving, but she really just wanted it as a guest. It was silly. Mrs. Baker was gone one day, so Ms. L. came. We loved her so much. Yesterday somebody called Mrs. Baker a turkey! It was a letter from the turkey company telling her she had been chosen to be eaten! We wrote letters back to the company telling them why they shouldn’t eat us! We had a good week. Do you think so, too?
